FocusMark Photo Kit helps photographers plan focus, exposure, and lighting before the shutter clicks. Drag the focus mark in the depth studio and watch near limit, far limit, and hyperfocal distance update instantly for any sensor format. Stack ND filters, apply film reciprocity curves, solve guide-number flash distances, and compare field-of-view — without signing in or sending your gear list to a server.
A seeded library of camera bodies, primes, zooms, and film presets is ready on first launch. Pin trusted setups, export summaries through the system share sheet, add a home-screen widget for your latest sharp zone, and browse insights when you want a quick read on your saved configurations.
Designed with a brass-and-teal optics aesthetic, light/dark themes, and metric or imperial units. FocusMark is a creative planning tool — results are mathematical estimates, not a substitute for calibrated metering or manufacturer charts.

How do I report a bug?
Email us with your device model, Android version, app version from Settings, and steps to reproduce. Screenshots or a short screen recording help us fix issues faster.
Is an internet connection required?
No. Core optics calculations, the gear library, saved setups, and bench tools work fully offline. Network access is not required for everyday use.
How do I export or share a setup?
Open Settings → Export → Share current optics summary. Android’s system share sheet opens; only the content you choose to send leaves your device.
Are DoF results guaranteed accurate?
FocusMark provides mathematical estimates for creative planning. Always verify critical focus and exposure on set with your own metering and manufacturer data.
How do I request account or data deletion?
FocusMark does not create user accounts and does not upload your library to our servers. Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device. For any privacy question, contact us at the email above.

DEVELOPER_ROSOLOVSKYI (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes FocusMark Photo Kit (package com.karellinnettepv.focusmarkphotokit). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on Android devices.
Summary
FocusMark Photo Kit processes optics calculations entirely on your device. Gear libraries, saved setups, preferences, and widget state are stored locally using Room and DataStore. We do not require an account, do not run third-party analytics in the core app, and do not upload your photography data to our servers for standard features.
Information stored on your device
- Camera bodies, lenses, and custom optic setups you create or edit
- App preferences such as theme, units (metric/imperial), and contrast settings
- Onboarding completion state and locally cached seed library data
- Widget configuration tied to your pinned sharp-zone setup
This data remains on your device unless you export it yourself or uninstall the app.
Information we do not collect
- No registration, login, or social profile is required
- No sale of personal data
- No cloud sync of your gear library for core offline features
- No access to your photo gallery or camera roll for planning tools
Optional sharing
When you tap export or share actions, Android’s system share sheet is used. Only the text or files you explicitly choose to share are transmitted to the destination app or contact you select. We do not control third-party apps you share to.
Permissions
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — used only if you enable optional optics tips or related local reminders. You can deny or revoke this permission in Android settings.
The app uses a FileProvider for secure local file sharing during export. No broad storage permissions are requested for core functionality.
Children’s privacy
FocusMark Photo Kit is a general-audience photography utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will assist with removal where applicable.
Data retention & deletion
Because data is stored locally, deleting the app removes associated app data from your device (subject to Android backup settings if enabled on your phone). We do not maintain a remote copy of your setups unless you separately send them to us by email.
Security
We design the app to minimize data exposure: offline processing, no mandatory network calls for core tools, and platform-standard local storage. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; keep your device updated and protected.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when the app or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the revision. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
